Our History

AHJ was founded as a Lloyd's broking house in 1973 and quickly established itself as a leading broker of marine and other reinsurance business, both from the London market and internationally. Our success enabled us to build the financial resources of the company, including investment in other (re)insurance businesses. We are proud of our track record of backing up a competitive broking service with first-class accounting and claims units, a tradition that continues to this day.
